Texiterra™ BF Oryza
Texiterra™ BF Oryza is an exclusive natural hair care ingredient made from the fermentation of Black Kavuni rice, a rare variety of rice from South India. Fermented rice water has been used for centuries by the Yao women in China to wash and nourish their hair thus preventing greying of hair well into their 80’s! Texiterra™ BF Oryza successfully blends science with the Yao tradition.
Black rice is known to be enriched with iron, fibre, protein and known antioxidant Anthocyanin. Anthocyanin gives the outer skin of the grain a dark purple hue, indicating antioxidant potential. Black rice has a higher Anthocyanin content in comparison to other rice or whole grains. The fermentation process helps enhance the existing vitamins and nutrients present in rice water, which in turn help nourish hair follicles, promoting healthy hair growth and overall condition.
